Sainted Glass Wallpaper Collection
This collection of wallpapers features five female saints along with iconography and motifs related to their miracles and works. These vibrant portraits mimic the beautiful stained glass masterpieces found in cathedrals throughout the world. With an emphasis on color, this collection captures the beauty and strength of each of the saints depicted using deep, rich hues that bring these heavenly heroines to life on your phone screen.
Storytelling through COLOR
My goal for this collection was to use color contrast effectively and not rely entirely on black outlines to separate my shapes. Different types of color contrast that I used included mixing light and dark contrast with complimentary hue contrast to provide two levels of distinction. This technique combined with the stained glass texture overlaying my design gives it a more realistic lighting effect, as well as helping to push the saints forward, making them pop against the darker patterned background.
