Identity Design Concept: ON THE ROAD
Mobile truck businesses are on the rise, this project shows the process of creating a limited brand identity for a company, from logos to environmental design. This project aims to design a creative brand solution for a new mobile business. Rims & Needles is a local mobile seamstress offering various sewing services to the greater Lafayette area. The Rims & Needles brand exemplifies quality and convenience, displayed in its clean and elegant design. Flowing typography and witty imagery create a unique identity that will convey the message of this business while still maintaining visual interest and recognizability. The muted and natural colors of this brand highlight its contemporary feel. The logo’s typeface is smooth, bold, and playful like sewing thread. Repeating patterns of sewing materials and dotted lines are found throughout the brand’s design. This poster displays applications of this brand on multiple fronts, including environmental truck graphics, app design, and touchpoint designs.
